...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN ASSOCIATION
WITH DELTA...

...SUMMARY...
A few tornadoes are possible across southern portions of Louisiana
and Mississippi tonight.

...Tropical Cyclone Delta...

Latest radar/satellite imagery suggest the center of Delta is
lifting northeast across southwestern portions of LA. In response,
surface data continues to exhibit a well-defined boundary draped
downstream from the low center-south of HEZ-south of MEI-near CEW.
Over the last few hours, some of the stronger, more sustained
supercells have been noted along/north of the boundary across AL.
These cells are lifting north and are likely somewhat elevated. Even
so, have adjusted MRGL Risk into this portion of AL to account for
this activity. Otherwise, strongest shear obviously remains
immediately ahead of Delta and higher tornado probabilities will
remain focused immediately downstream across southeast LA into
southern MS.
