SPC 1730Z Day 2 Outlook
Day 2 Convective Outlook NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1119 AM CST Tue Nov 03 2020 Valid 041200Z - 051200Z ...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST... ...SUMMARY... Severe thunderstorms are not expected across the contiguous United States on Wednesday. ...Synopsis... Shortwave trough currently moving towards the Four Corners region is expected to continue eastward into the central/southern Plains on Wednesday. Some shallow moisture return is possible across TX ahead of this shortwave, but stable conditions are expected to dominate, precluding thunderstorm development. Surface high pressure will remain in place across much of eastern CONUS, with resulting stable conditions prevailing. The only potential for thunderstorms appears to be a across far southern FL and the FL Keys, where persistent easterly flow and the approach of a weak tropical wave will allow for low-level moistening and modest ascent needed for isolated thunderstorms. ..Mosier.. 11/03/2020
