NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0648 PM CST Fri Nov 13 2020

Valid 140100Z - 141200Z

Severe thunderstorms are not expected through tonight.

Water vapor imagery shows zonal flow across the much of the eastern
half of the nation with an upper-level trough in the Desert
Southwest. A plume of mid-level moisture is present ahead of the
trough extending northeastward to the southern and central Plains.
Thunderstorm development will be possible within this plume tonight
as a 40 to 50 kt low-level jet strengthens across the southern and
central Plains into the Ozarks. Elsewhere, a few lightning strikes
may occur along the coast of the Pacific Northwest as an upper-level
moves further inland. No severe thunderstorms are expected across
the continental United States tonight.
