SPC 0100Z Day 1 Outlook
Day 1 Convective Outlook NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 0631 PM CST Mon Nov 23 2020 Valid 240100Z - 241200Z ...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST... ...SUMMARY... A few thunderstorms remain possible across parts of the Rockies and Plains tonight. ...01z Update... Mid-level temperatures will continue to cool and lapse rates will further steepen across portions of CO/northern NM later tonight ahead of an approaching short-wave trough. Isolated thunderstorms have developed ahead of this feature along the CO/NM border and this region should remain favorably positioned for isolated thunderstorms through the period. Late tonight, warm advection should contribute to isolated convection along a corridor from the TX Panhandle into south-central KS. In this region, buoyancy appears too weak to warrant any meaningful threat for large hail. ..Darrow.. 11/24/2020
