...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

...SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are not forecast Tuesday across the contiguous
United States.

...Synopsis...
A mid-level low and associated large-scale trough will slowly move
eastward over the East Coast states on Tuesday. A mid-level
shortwave trough initially over UT will move equatorward and reach
west TX by early Wednesday morning. In the low levels, a cold front
will have pushed into the western Atlantic early Tuesday morning
except for parts of New England. A confined area of isolated
thunderstorms is forecast along the Maine coast during the morning
before ceasing by midday. Late overnight into early Wednesday
morning, weak instability is forecast to develop near the TX coast.
A few weak thunderstorms are possible. Elsewhere, stable conditions
will preclude thunderstorms for much of the Lower 48 states.
