NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
1130 PM CST Sun Dec 06 2020

Valid 081200Z - 091200Z

Thunderstorms are not expected on Tuesday.

An upper trough east of the Mississippi River will pivot eastward,
moving off the Atlantic coast Tuesday night. Meanwhile, a broad
upper ridge over the western U.S. will spread east across much of
the western two-thirds of the CONUS. A cut-off upper low will
persist offshore from southern CA/northern Baja. At the surface,
high pressure will encompass much of the country, and a cold front
will push deep into the Gulf of Mexico. This will result in dry,
stable conditions over the U.S., and thunderstorms are not expected.
