Medium-range guidance is in good agreement that a deep upper trough
will cover the eastern CONUS early D4/Friday. Surface low associated
with this trough will likely be over Ontario, with its attendant
cold front likely offshore. This system will continue
eastward/northeastward off the East Coast on D4/Friday. Another
shortwave will likely progress through southern Plains on
D5/Saturday, with another shortwave in its wake over the
central/southern Plains on D6/Sunday.

Despite this active and progressive upper pattern, stable conditions
are anticipated in the wake of the eastern CONUS upper trough and
the short duration between all the shortwaves will limit moisture
return. As such, severe potential appears low through at least early
next week.
