NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
1118 AM CST Sun Jan 10 2021

Valid 111200Z - 121200Z

A few weak thunderstorms may affect parts of the northern Gulf Coast
on Monday. Severe weather is not expected.

A mid-level trough initially over the lower MS Valley will move to
the southern Appalachians/Carolinas and weaken considerably during
the period. A weak area of low pressure will move east over the
north-central Gulf of Mexico during the day. The northern periphery
of a still-modifying warm sector will likely remain south of the
AL/FL Panhandle coasts with only weak elevated instability north
near the coasts. Showers and a few non-severe thunderstorms are
possible along the northern Gulf Coast during the day.
