The risk for thunderstorms appears negligible across the U.S.
through tonight.

...01Z Outlook Update...
Widespread precipitation and embedded convection will continue to
impact Pacific Northwest coastal areas into the Cascades tonight, as
strengthening south-southwesterly flow in the 850-700 mb layer
(50-70+ kt) maintains an influx of lower-latitude Pacific moisture. 
However, it still appears that colder mid-level air, with steeper
lapse rates more supportive of convection capable of producing
lightning, will remain displaced well to the northwest of the region
through 12Z Tuesday and beyond.

Otherwise, generally stable conditions are prevalent across much of
the remainder of the U.S., with little change expected overnight.
