...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

...SUMMARY...
Isolated thunderstorms may occur Wednesday across parts of western
Colorado, eastern Utah, and vicinity. Severe thunderstorms are not
expected.

...Synopsis...
Much of the CONUS will reside within a stable airmass as an
expansive high pressure area extends from the Ohio Valley south
through Florida. Upstream, a powerful mid-level wave will traverse
the central and northern Rockies. Point forecast soundings indicate
sufficient mid-level cooling for weak mid-level instability and
perhaps a few lightning flashes with any convection. The mid-level
wave will encourage lee surface troughing and return flow across
Texas/central Oklahoma especially in the latter half of the period,
although any moistening should be insufficient to support any
thunderstorms in those areas.
