Scattered showers continue developing from northeast through western CO along a southeast-advancing cold front and within band of ascent associated with a progressive shortwave trough. A few thunderstorms remain possible with this activity until around mid-evening. ...Middle Missouri Valley region... Weak destabilization is expected tonight within an evolving warm advection regime associated with a strengthening low-level jet. MUCAPE from 100-300 J/kg is possible across a portion of northern MO into southern IA.
